George Belliveau releases the summer single Martini à la tête
(Moncton, June 26, 2006) - George Belliveau releases Martini à la tête, the third single from his new album L’amour viendra nous sauver released earlier this month. This summery song reminds us that there are no problems a ray of sunshine, nice weather, a cigar and a cold glass in our hand cannot erase.
With Martini à la tête, George offers an energetic song that will incite people to get up and sing out loud that there are no problems when you have sun in your heart, sandals on your feet, and when joy is in the air! With a style that gives the urge to celebrate, George pays tribute to his old music group Bois-Joli who, for many years, made people dance during the summer months.
Hailing from Pré-d’en-haut in the Memramcook Valley in New Brunswick, George Belliveau is an artist and the cofounder, technician, producer, and director of the Studio Belivo in Barachois. He accompanies a great number of artists in the production of their CD. He has evolved on the Acadian musical scene since adolescence playing with a number of groups including the group Belivo, which he founded with his brothers, and the renowned Bois-Joli, a group that made many people dance.
For this first solo album, George Belliveau is accompanied by Danny Bourgeois, drums, Étienne LeBlanc and Chris Wheaton, bass, Mario Robichaud, piano and keyboards, Mike Bourgeois, guitar, Daniel Maillet, banjo, mandolin, and the dobro, Denis Hachey, percussions, and Paul Hébert, vocals. George Belliveau assured the production, the sound recording and the mixing of L’amour viendra nous sauver. The album was recorded at the Studio Belivo in Grand-Barachois, New Brunswick.
