George Belliveau releases his second single Pour l'amour du ciel
(Moncton, March 20, 2006) - George Belliveau releases Pour l’amour du ciel, the second single from his new album L’amour viendra nous sauver scheduled to be released this Spring. In this song of love and life, the lyrics written by Acadian artist Monique Poirier (Les Muses, Ode à l’Acadie) blend in perfectly with George’s music. With a beautiful and entertaining melody, he sings of the importance of finding the essential things in life…one day at a time.
Pour l’amour du ciel relates the despair of endlessly watching time go by, drowning in anonymous crowds of people, not understanding why, and sings the hope of one day opening your eyes and waking from a profound sleep for the love of life.
Hailing from Pré-d’en-haut in the Memramcook Valley in New Brunswick, George Belliveau is an artist and the cofounder, technician, producer, and director of the Studio Belivo in Barachois. He accompanies a great number of artists in the production of their CD. He has evolved on the Acadian musical scene since adolescence playing with a number of groups including the group Belivo, which he founded with his brothers, and the renowned Bois-Joli, a group that made many people dance.
During his musical journey, George has always cultivated a sincere love for his own music. Between two songs or two studio sessions, he always finds the time to work on his passion that has never left him during all these years of singing and playing with a variety of groups.
The album L’amour viendra nous sauver scheduled to be released this spring is his first solo album.
